Butler County has officially become a WORK READY COMMUNITY.
Thank you to our education partners, Circle Public Schools, Butler Community College, and El Dorado Schools, and all of our community business partners for supporting this initiative.
We recognized the need for an aligned strategy to see change and progress in our communities. Brining awareness and exposure to the job and career opportunities in the region and strengthening the real-world skills of students to better meet the growing industry needs.
What is an ACT® Work Ready Community?
ACT Work Ready Communities (WRC) empower states, regions and counties with data, processes and tools that drive economic growth. Participants are leveraging the ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®) to measure and close the skills gap — and building common frameworks that link, align and match their workforce development efforts.
